                                                                   CAT 2019 The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computerbased Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT 2019) on November 24, 2019 in two sessions. Detailed information on CAT 2019 may be obtained from the CAT website.   CAT website: www.iimcat.ac.in    CAT 2019 is a pre-requisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow programmes of IIMs. CAT 2019 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.   CAT 2019 ELIGIBILITY    Please refer to the detailed notification on the CAT website. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by the Indian  Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination  Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance  to: (i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and  (ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without  scholarship/assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory.
